THANKSGIVING!

This holiday was pretty crazy and busy! for one i had to attend to two thanksgivings and work on black friday at hollister. i got as full as i could and then i napped then woke up to have another thanksgiving. and to top off my holiday i had to wake up at 5 and be at work by 630 til ten pm that night. it was sooo soo soo busy and the line was wrapped around the story almost twice. not to mention people were really rude and mean. For some reason i got yelled at because a lady was mad at the cashier? but what made it better is my break, and lunch with zack. then back to work i went. i finally got off and came then fell asleep. i did go by and see eric outside but i was to tired to even want to try and converse with him. plus i was on my way to olive garden lol. well that was my holiday am hope u all had a good one.

my decent week :)

This week was my birthday!!! i started the day by taking a medical terminolgy test.. which i aced! 100%!! Then i went with with zachary to get my gift and then to lunch at red robin. i got a free burger!!! whoo whoaa!! plus they sang to me and gave me free icecream! i was pretty freaking excited. we went to the mall and i picked out ed hardy perfume... the new one hearts and daggers! it smells amazing. plus it came with a handbag lotion , body wash, and a mini perfume for my purse. to finish my birthday , zack and i came back to my house to have dinner with the family and watch movies. all in all it was a great birthday! the following day i think , that or the next after that, i went to interview Eric at his shop and watched him do a tattoo, took some picks and what not. funny thing my mom is now dead on serious about getting a tattoo at Eternal Ink, which is pretty kick ass for my mom. i talked to a a few of the people in the shop and walked around, i felt like one of them just hanging out. then Zack came to get me and we went out. i had to work the next day like always. work is the same ol same ol. nothing changes there. Occasionally things spice up when we run out of dough, and theres a slight freak out. other than that my week was decent, it can always be better!

slightly busy weekend

So about this weekend, it was an okay one i suppose. Friday i went to put put and see due date the movie. HALARIOUS. Just saying then later that night me and zack went to Eternal Ink to ask Eric some questions about his place and where he got some of his supplies, just little trhings. i also asked about getting tattoos and piercings, and around how much would they cost. Saturday moring i had to work at 10 to about five that evening. let me tell you people these days are so mean! i tried to be nice and reamain calm but again people are think its okay to be mean to the servers. finally i got to go home and relax and watch stepbrothers while eating a nutty bar with a glass of milk... in my opinion great way to end a day. the following morning sunday i had work again til 6. it was an okay day. all i wanted to do was get home and sleep deal with school and the outside world later on. OHHH im super pumped my birthday is thursday ill be 20!! and i am going to see if i can finally get a tattoo! whoop whoop

a little tattoo and baseball

This week nothing really happened exciting except for my little brothers select baseball game. He had three in two days!! Tiring!! And the meeting I had at erics tattoo shop on Tuesday. When I walked in eric was pretty excited to see me . I gave him the papers that I needed him to sign and he did so. Then he asked what I was doing or going to be doing while I visted over the next few weeks, so I had to explain more in depth. Then I met one of his young tattoo artist named blake,. He was pretty cool and gave me very detailed answers . I asked about the tattoo gun and quickly corrected to me. Its called a tattoo machine. Because and I quote : guns kill people not machines”.. when I heard it made some sense. I thought it to be interesting how the they had that saying and how they all said it in unison. I asked blake if he could do a tattoo for me , my rosary around my ankle. He already had one drawn up so he showed me how he could wrap it around making it look like it is dripping down my foot. Well I hope to visit more soon and learn more about tattooing !.

big changes?

so so so so this weekend i think i have decided i am going to change my major! well i decided maybe i do not want to be a nurse,maybe i want to be a dental hygentist! yes a dental hygenist! i was thinking i love teeth and making sure everyone is my house is taken care of when it comes to dental hygene. I am obsessed with teeth and what not. i kno it sounds weird but its true, when i got to walmart i head to the toothpaste department andbuy things i clearly do not need or can afford half the time.i believe that if you have confidence in your great smile it just make things a whole easier. Such as approaching people, smiling with friends in pictures, and of coarse dating other people. so i am hoping i can get in with a counselor soon and talk about my future plans as a dental hygienist. oh and a note on my tattoo project, i went to visit and i think i may get stud in my hips not for sure.. you only live once why not? well see how my week goes. Wish me good luck on this new adventure i plan to take on.

FULL BODY MASSAGE

So my sunday was the best day of the week for me and heres why.. my best friend is in massage therapy school and she needs people or a person to practice on. well as a wonderful friend i took on this challenge and promised ill always be there when she needs to practice. nice huh? well on sunday i had an appointment with her at twelve. so i walk in all stressed waiting for a massage. and there was was lauryn all ready. so i had to get undressed which was a tad bit awkward but i got passed it. i had a full body massage for an hour and a half, i fell asleep within the first ten minutes of my back rub. After i was finished the teacher /instructor came into the room and gave me several coupons for massages. Ten dollars off my next massage!! let me tell you i am so relaxed and feel a lot better. plus afterwards she took me to red robin. i had me a whiskey river burger.If anyone needs a massage just let me know she needs more hours of massaging and would be happy to give massages. but i can not guarantee a free lunch at red robin.

adventure to the hecker store

so! me and my younger sister Marryn were told to to run to the hecker store to buy a two liter bottle of mt.dew. so me and marryn are like okay lets role out. i begin to walk up the street and my sis being lazy ass hell said heyyy wait lets take the motor scooter. well if u saw my sis she is 5 10 511 and shes twelve..and me at 5 7. we were not going to fit on that scooter, but when there is a will there is a way. so they we are riding down hecker streets like true gangstas. Cars and trucks were honking and laughing at us but we were not embarrassed. we put on quite an excellent show i would have to say. when we finally pulled up an old man was there on a motor powered wheelchair type deal and when i finally came out he wanted to race us!.......so i said politely ITS ONNN! .We won of course , a fine victory it was. me and marryn hi fived and hugged. god i love my adventures with my sister.

Dear Mr. Nadziejko and fellow classmates, i am asking permission to research and interview my subculture , which is tattoo and piercing. i will be visiting and observing at Internal Ink in Hecker, IL, and interviewing people with tattoos and their experiences.i will be finding out the history on tattoos, also ill be watching a show called Taboo. I hear it is very interesting! i will have to look into some tattoo magazines and fins information through them. I can revisit almost everyday because i live walking distance from the site and it fits in with my schedule i will be covering what kind of work is done there, the environment, and history of the site. i will also go into the history of tattoos and piercing, like in different places in the world. i will compare of tattoos here i america maybe some sort of taboo or someone trying to be different where as i other parts of the world tattoo and piercing are a symbol of what tribe your in or where your from, what you have been through. I personally have a few piercing of my own and i think its pretty awesome! I am looking to get at tattoo on my foot here soon. I have a great interest for this subculture and i am excited to spend time with the artists and get to know the history/fun facts on tattoos/piercings. Hey guys my name is Marcedis! here i am again blogging for English 102. Woot Woot. Well a little background on me u may ask? I am almost 20 years old and going to school for nursing, i want my masters. I live ion hecker ,il , its a small town with only like 500 people. I have many siblings and take care of them all. my daily routine is getting up super early in my opinion at 6 or 7 and start by getting the kids ready for school and cleaning up the house since i have either an eight o clock class or nine thirty class. i like to have a clean house clean room and im organized. Im talkin binders , folders, slips within binders. i got the extreme on these things. I work two jobs , but i work one more than the other. i am pretty much busy from 6 am to 12 pm... sorry to my love Cory Robert Quintana (hes sitting next to me) so i have to say this. I spend a lot of time with my brother and my sisters and not just because i live with them. I take them everywhere and anywhere ;ranging from sports to school to just days out with sissy! cute i know i know.

today i talked to my boyfriend and asked why he has been actin funny? or what was wrong lately? all he said was the navy makes him that way? im tired of always makin excuses for him and trying to do my best for him....im the only one holding us up sometimes. the more i talked the more he realized his wrong and realized mine. he apologized but he always apologizes?so i ask you , be honest, is this it? shud i continue to work on us or move on? if its harsh and true i can deal with it i will not be offended.

YES FINALLY WARM WEATHER

i don't about you but i am so happy that i can finally break out the shorts and dresses! Ive been waiting all winter long for this time! it might sound crazy but i feel more ALIVE in a way. its so bright out and the grass is green, its a wondrous time! I'm actually writing my rough draft for English out here and the words just keep flowing! ya ya me !

OMG ..IPHONE

the time has come for me to purchase an IPHONE. as many of you know this phone can easily become your best friend. i was shocked to find out that because of my upgrade i could get one for only 99 dollars. i went to best buy to purchase one but they wanted around 600??? i just wanted to share mt new with my fellow classmates! u dont know how excited i am!

SCHOOL FOR 4 DAYS!!

yes its true, our president has signed the bill tht will change kids school routines. starting next year schools in illinios will be in session only four days a week. where will this leave parents who work 5 days a week, will the days be longer? IS THIS A GOOD IDEA OR NOT! i know this will affect my family greatly... will it affect yours too?

WOW WOW WEATHER

i dont know about you, but i am grateful for this weather! i have notice that in the winter time i am . more un -active i guess you could say. i dont feel as cheery as i do in the summer.. i love bright warm weather! as you all may know....SPRING BREAK IT AROUND THE CORNER!! please please i advise all of you to be careful and have fun in whatever you have panned! i know i will

whispering to an eagle?

a man named tim brown saved a tangled up eagle by whispering to him to calm him down. no one else could even get close to the animal but this man who claims to be a Eagle whisperer. he sang to the animal which calm him down and the eagle laid still until he was released. now he is in rehabilitation for a week. is it possible to have this gift? or was it just luck?

having hiccups for 2 years!

A Louisville man has had the hiccups for the last 15 months. he struggles with this everyday. now hes letting people interview him so that maybe justtt maybe someone in America can help this man find a cure. he has tried nearly everything to help from standing on his head to a chiropractor. imagine how annoying it would be to have hiccups everyday of your life! if you have any remedies(bizarre ones too) i will be have to email him and hopefully we can find some relief . than you!

Alright this week i have this problem. My boyfriend moved to Georgia today..hes in the navy and he was relocated. he loves it there! sounds beautiful. we plan to get married when i finish school but lately and i mean months now, i don't get along with my mom. its so awkward for me because have been best-friends for ever? and now i think she hates the fact that i am growing up and wanting to leave the house. i want to leave and go be with him so badly. I'm not your average young person, i was raised to have a lot of responsibility. I'm the oldest of 9 i understand all the hardships of marriage..Ive been through two divorces. i know how hard it is to be away from family i used to spend 6-7 weeks away every summer in California. if i choose to move to Georgia a house will be provided and money to actually move me there.... the navy assists you in paying bills. i know paying the bills wont be a problem its just actually getting up and leaving.. please if any of you have any advice id greatly appreciate it. thanks !!

unplug unused PLUGS!

Well from experience i suggest we all unplug unused cords! today i was cleaning my room. i had my TV on , iTunes playing loud, and my cell plugged in along with my camera. So basically every single electronic thing in my room was on and running(its alot trust me) And all of the sudden i heard a loud pop! All my lights went out! i screamed and ran out of my room like a lil girl... embarrassing!! Anyways , i came up stairs to tell my mom and got on ,my laptop and the front page news on yahoo was.."UNPLUG UNUSED CORDS"...how ironic. so i began to read up on this. Apparently , if you do unplug the cords you dont use ,you can save alot of money on your electric bill. so i guess ill be saving the family alot money today....since my room is ina current black out.

a kitty that knows when ur gonna die?

YES! i know creepy right? well when i read this this article on yahoo frontpage, i uhh...lets just say i look at my cat differently. This cat named Oscar has so far predicted 50 deaths in the nursing he stays at. Oscar will curl up next to the patient and the doctors have notice that every time he does this, that patient passes. Now, they are not saying if the cat cuddles up to you your going to die that's not the case. It just so happens that the cat can sense when death is near..almost like a 6th sense. The staff believes that the cat can pick up on a pheromone or smell that humans don't recognize. Some still don't quite fully believe this cat is unique or that he has this ability. What do u think?

well hey there! This is my first blog..don't laugh . To be honest i didn't know to do this or even know what it was about? But here i am..blogging. i hope it turns out to be what everyone says it is! Now we all have heard in some shape or form about the earthquake in Haiti. i watch the news every night ti see the updates on what is being done to help these people.i have personally given money to certain charities hoping it reaches them in this time of great need. i believe we all should give a little something, because i know if we needed this help, other countries would help. just like the the golden rule says: treat others how you would want to be treated. A little of our help means A LOT to them.
