adventure to the hecker store

so! me and my younger sister Marryn were told to to run to the hecker store to buy a two liter bottle of mt.dew. so me and marryn are like okay lets role out. i begin to walk up the street and my sis being lazy ass hell said heyyy wait lets take the motor scooter. well if u saw my sis she is 5 10 511 and shes twelve..and me at 5 7. we were not going to fit on that scooter, but when there is a will there is a way. so they we are riding down hecker streets like true gangstas. Cars and trucks were honking and laughing at us but we were not embarrassed. we put on quite an excellent show i would have to say. when we finally pulled up an old man was there on a motor powered wheelchair type deal and when i finally came out he wanted to race us!.......so i said politely ITS ONNN! .We won of course , a fine victory it was. me and marryn hi fived and hugged. god i love my adventures with my sister.

  1. This is so funny! I love sister moments they are the best! My sister is soon getting married and I told her I still want our days Kyle is just going to have to deal with it. I know you think this was just a trip to the store for some soda, but I think this could go into your paper. You are probably thinking is she crazy, but really. Somewhere in your paper you can talk about the people in the community and how they are nice to you and your sister even when you were acting silly. Because in my home town they would have looked at me and said what is wrong with you act your age. Maybe something along that line, just a thought that came to me as I read this crazy trip to the store.

  4. What a funny story!!! I used to live in Hecker years ago. Those people are so used to being in the "norm", it doesn't take much to freak them out! I can picture the two of you giving that town something different to look at. I can just hear them talking. You sure gave them something to gossip about. Are you doing your story about Hecker? I know when it first became a town it was not called Hecker, but I can't think of what the original name was at this moment. My ex-husband and I lived there for about two years after we were first married. The apartment building we lived in is now gone, but it was located across the street from the old Hecker Shopping center and post office. The town's buildings have changed, but the town has not grown much.

  5. That's great! The moments with sisters can be amazing. I've always wished I had a sister close to my age, but I have had some friends that were like sisters. This story gives the impression that you and your sister are close. That's really great.
Only in a small town could you ever race a man on a power chair while riding a motor scooter with your sister. Small town fun! I enjoyed the story and have fun with your sis!
